UNDIP had succeeded to carried out the 160th Graduation on Thursday (5/11) in Prof. Soedarto Building, attended by Undip Rectorat, Deputy Chancellor, Chair of the Academic Senate, Deputy Board of Trustees, and Faculty / School Dean. The graduates attend the event live through the Zoom application.

The 1.018 graduates came from various faculties consisted of 199 people from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, 599 people from the Vocational School, 186 people from the Faculty of Medicine, and 34 people from the Faculty of Psychology. Some of the graduates came with a cumlaude predicate to read Alumni Promises and Acknowledgments from Graduates.

In this 160th Graduation, a motivation video by Undip’s alumni was aired to give encouragement to the fresh graduates for entering the new world — a career world. They’re expected to keep bring the Diponegoro values whenever they’re doing their respective roles at works in the future. “Undip college students have to be the subjects instead of objects who are able to make changes for a better world”, stated the Undip Rectorat, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, LLB LLM.

Speaking for all the fresh graduates, Fajar Hudoyo from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences graduates said his thank you to all the lecturers who have guided and educated them until they have their Bachelor’s degree. He delivered his pride of being Undip alumni for it is ranked as one of the top 10 universities in Indonesia.

Fajar encourages all the fresh graduates to be the agent of change. “Let us together to light the world and make impactful changes. And with what? of course with the knowledge that we have gained while we’re studying at Diponegoro University,” he stated.
